Wild Game
Feed April 18th 6:00 PM Moscow Moose Lodge
The Wild Game Feed has a long history in the College of
Natural Resources at the University of Idaho predating the Palouse Unit.
Since its conception 30 years ago the Palouse Unit has adopted the Wild
Game Feed as one of its functions to foster camaraderie within the unit and
among the students and their advising professors.
It has slowly developed into our major fundraiser that enables us to do
activities such as attend the annual Idaho Chapter AFS meeting.
We took nearly 30 students to Post Falls this year to attend the
meeting for three days. We also
sponsor guest speakers, clinics, fishing trips, community service, and etc.
with the money we raise at the Wild Game Feed.
The Wild Game Feed is a potluck style dinner.
Attendees bring the main courses and the side dishes and the Palouse
Unit provides the beverages. While
dishes containing game meat are highly encouraged any food that attendees
would like to share is welcome.
The fundraising portion of the Wild Game Feed
consists of an auction and raffle. We
solicit several businesses and individuals both nationally as well as locally
for donated merchandise or services. Generally
we have some very nice framed artwork and some guided fishing trips, as well
as several other things that are in the auction and raffle.
Different games and activities also give people the opportunity to win
prizes without having to purchase tickets. The Wild Game Feed fundraiser will be held 18 April 2008 at the Moscow Moose Lodge. Come have dinner and a drink with us and have fun at our auction and raffle.
