Tarah
Johnson
Tarah joined AFS in spring 2007 and is the current
Secretary. Tarah is highly interested in recruiting members and brain-storming
experience opportunities with professionals for our members. She recently gave a
poster-presentation titled “The Ecology and Geology of Deer Lake, WA” at the
last meeting in Boise. She is currently working with the Idaho Department of
Fish and Game Bayview Field Station on a project involving the investigation
into the deepest depths of Lake Pend Oreille. She was asked by her supervisor to
present the findings at the next ICAFS meeting in Post Falls.
Tarah is finishing her last year as an undergraduate
majoring in Fishery Resources. She plans on pursuing a Masters Degree through
Eastern Washington University working in either fish genetics or reproduction.
Tarah’s favorite hobbies include fly-fishing, camping,
hiking, modeling and social dance.
