under the direction of Ken Cain on developing and implementing a vaccine for Coldwater disease. She
obtained her Bachelor’s degree in May of 2008 from UI after she transferred
from North Idaho College (NIC) in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho with her Associate’s
degree in general science. Over the
past two years, Tarah has served as secretary and the chair of
the education committee (2007-2008) and as vice president and wild game feed
coordinator (2008-2009) for PUAFS. She is excited to take on the
leadership role of president for the 2009-2010 year and has several new ideas to
bring to the unit as well as providing more opportunities for students to
enhance their professional development. After completing her Master’s degree, Tarah plans to move back to the
Coeur d’ Alene area to begin a career in the fish health profession. Tarah loves the outdoors and takes advantage of the many opportunities North Idaho has to offer. Her favorites include archery hunting, S.C.U.B.A. diving, fly fishing, hiking and snowmobiling. Tarah also has a huge interest in dance performance and education with her minor in social dance education that she obtained in May of 2008 as well. She has been dancing for almost 20 years and intends on maintaining this hobby in some form throughout her life. Tarah also enjoys spending time with her family. ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● <’(((>< ● |
