The definition of excellence is meeting the highest expectation of what can
be achieved or exhibiting exemplary performance. The Palouse Unit has
never recorded giving an Award of Excellence to one of its members. Be
LaFrentz is the first to receive it for his contributions to the Palouse Unit
since 2000. It is rare to have a person committed to the Palouse Unit
for as long as Ben has worked with us as most are here for only a year or
two. The following is a long list of things that Ben has done to
contribute to the success of the Palouse Unit:
