Credits: This course is being changed to a 4 credit course for Fall 2010. While this change is occurring, this year an extra 1 credit 204 will be available for registration - this 1 cr extra will not meet at any time as the material + work already exists within the existing class times.

Assignments: Each assignment will be available during the week we cover the material and will be due by end of the following Friday. Hand in assignments in my departmental mail box.

Course Duration: This course will end with the final written exam in the first week of December . The course is accelerated to take advantage of the fall weather for the majority of the lectures and lab times.

Labs: The 3 hour lab will consist of up to 2 hours of measurements outside with the remainder of time for inside discussion and analysis. During the inside portion, time is set-aside to ask questions about the weekly assignments.

Special Class Lab Requirements:

  • Each student must sign a waiver before being allowed on fieldwork (will be provided in first lecture).

  • Each student must also bring and wear a hardhat to each lab located at the Blodget Tract..
