The following web module is designed to help you understand the
basics of mathematics in natural resources. Upon completion of this
web module you should be able to do the following:
- Solve basic mathematical expressions
- Describe and use scientific notation
- Write and solve basic algebraic functions
- Understand and solve exponential functions
This web module is designed to complete as a whole at your own
pace or such that you can quickly access any portion of it for quick
reference. There are examples through out the module which may help
you evaluate your own understanding of these concepts.
This web module is not designed or developed to replace courses
in mathematics. It’s primary purpose is to provide you with a
