Verify that your computer system
meets the required specifications and is configured correctly. Advisory Note. See "Tips" section for additional assistance on the correct settings for Internet Explorer.

Install the plug-in Neuron (version 2004) and set Neuron to "non-secure" mode (this only needs to be set once). The lesson are not accessible via computers in the University of Idaho Student Computer Labs. | On your Windows98/ME/NT/2000 desktop 1. Start 2. Programs 3. Select a lesson.

Neuron
logo should appear on a
white background. Th
is indicates that the interactive lesson is loading.
If you do not see the logo, then your computer system is not configured
correctly. The time required for loading is dependent on your network
connection speed. Since the interactive lessons are up to 10 Mb in size,
the loading time can range from a few seconds to many minutes.

Once the interactive lesson
appears, all components of the interactive lesson should work without
delay.

Click on the button in the bottom right side of any lesson page to end your lesson (in some of the lessons, clicking on the button will take you to the cover page; click again and the lesson will close). | To close browser window - if
it does not close after your lesson ends 1. Press and hold down the ALT key 2. Press the F4 key

As a matter of normal computer maintenance, delete your temporary internet files from the Temporary Internet Files folder. | On the browser menu bar, select 1. Tools 2. Internet Options 3. Delete Files 4. Delete all offline content
