Long-time columnist Mary Stuever has had a compendium of her articles and essays published by University of New Mexico Press. Her newspaper columns seek to educate and celebrate--educate the public about the profession and practice of forestry; and to celebrate the moments, both big and small, that have kept her moving forward in a field that requires hard work over long hours in all kinds of weather, but that provides her with deep satisfaction.
