The University of Idaho-Wilderness & Protected Area Research Center (WPARC) is a university wide research facility in the College of Natural Resources at the University of Idaho.

The mission of the WPARC is to study the human dimensions of wilderness ecosystems. The WPARC conducts research and teaches courses on wilderness and protected area management, monitoring impacts, communicating with the public, and the nature of wilderness experiences. The Outdoor Behavioral Healthcare Research Cooperative has moved to the University of Minnesota. For more information please contact Dr. Keith Russell.
